To Name It, Or Not to Name It...
Voyager's Record 25.0080.1352 - For the Merchant's Guild
GX006-Ickjamatew
Umpant-Madan XI System
- Took on a bounty from Mission Agent Hebina at the Umpant-Madan XI Station. Been meaning to look for a little trouble... I mean I wanted to further test out the Excalibur's performance... yes...
- Made note of a slick yellow jet fighter star ship on the station just after turning in the bounty to Agent Hebina.
- Maybe one day we can house more ships in the Pendragon's hangar *sigh*
Voyager's Record 25.0081.1602 - Hyperdrive Series-07
- Returned to the Pendragon for final systems checks and plotted a course for the core of Ickjamatew.
- Landed in the Orlyai XIV system just 3,070 LY from Ickjamatew's galactic core.
- Set another relative velocity best at 286,636 LY/hr!
- Also set a new best at consuming 96% charge of the hyperdrive :P
- By original Star Trek standards, the Pendragon traveled at a warp factor of 1359.49 or 2,512,654,682.40 times the speed of light
- According to online discovery services, Traveler SickTag discovered this system five years ago. Thanks for putting in the leg work SickTag!
- Set a course for the last planet in the system, 6ZHOUMU JILE, interesting name!
- Discovered by Traveler Meta4 - also an interesting name :D
Voyager's Record 25.0083.2150 - Ickjamatew's Ab
GX006-Ickjamatew
Orlyai XIV System
6ZHOUMU JILE - Flourishing Planet
- Despite the prevalence of sentinels, we determined that this would be the best planet for a galactic core base.
- Local scans also revealed an Alien Portal on the planet.
- Future galactic core bases should be built in proximity to Alien Portal structures for ease of travel!
- Set up the base computer on a sprawling plateau within line of sight of the Alien Portal - quickly set to work on the galactic core base.
- Enjoyed the sunset from viewing port of the base.
- The view reminded me very much of many Earth-like sunsets we'd experienced.
- Maybe one day we'll search for our very own New Earth, when this voyage is done :)
Voyager's Record 25.0084.2336 - Galactic Core Neighbors
- As we enjoyed the sunset, we spotted a waypoint indicating another traveler's base over the horizon.
- Odds are that the base belongs to Traveler Meta4.
- Quickly hopped in the Caliburn to check it out!
- Whoever Traveler Meta4 is, they have an awesome knack for naming conventions!
- Time to move on, it feels like forever since we've traveled to another galaxy...
- Made a quick pit-stop at the space station and found yet another jet fighter star ship that we'd love to add to our collection!
- This one appeared to sport a hyperspace ring - is that what it's called?
Voyager's Record 25.0085.2336 - Onto GX007
- Galactic Core Checks:
- Multi-tool SWITCHED
- Rhongomyniad PREPPED
- Hyperdrive Warp Cells CHARGED
GX007-Budullangr (WHAT IS WITH THESE NAMES? xD)
Nosumxuk System (I DID NOT NAME THIS SYSTEM - I JUST FOUND IT LIKE THIS! T.T)
Redsonius
- Quickly summoned Caliburn and returned to the Pendragon for repairs.
- Five planets and one moon in-system, looks like we have a lot to explore after repairs and a good night's sleep.
- Galaxy Map readouts indicated that we're 718,425 LY from the core of Budullangr - we're in for a long ride!
- Completed repairs on Rhongomyniad, time for bed - goodnight!
