• After several failed attempts to patron the wonderful resorts created by Kim, we had resigned ourselves to returning to our journey - when a blip appeared on the periphery of our HUD's compass.
• The structure tag read out as... Bitty Base...

• Ignoring a local distress hail, we hastily brought up the Traveler's Catalog and thumbed through the New Giangri section:

• Ship Systems: "WARNING! PULSE ENGINE REACHING CRITICAL FAILURE!"

• Having pulsed half-way around New Giangri and knifing through a brief humid storm we anxiously touched down on the landing pad of the Bitty Base.
• Our explorer ship's massive frame took ages to make contact with the landing pad as the hydraulic systems and landing struts hissed downward.

• We stepped down from the Imeji and tepidly took our first few steps off of the landing pad and through the stony structure of the greeting dome.
• A vast seascape filled with island chains stretched behind us as we exited the greeting dome and walked under the cool shade of the breezy palm trees.

• Guiding the way to the comfy resort were magenta lights placed at the base of several trees and foliage.
• Very thoughtful Kim!

• Nestled in the bushes next to the sturdy trunk of a palm tree sat the base computer and save beacon.
• Both neatly arranged in such a way as to usher visiting travelers to view the beautiful eastern shoreline.
• The sea and its islands reaching out all the way to the horizon, wispy white clouds lilted high in the pastel yellow sky. 

• Taking in the coastal sights and sounds as we returned to the foundations of the resort, we took our first steps up to the Bitty Base.

• Standing dumbfounded in the entryway of the abode, our eyes were drawn up to the intricately designed ceiling and roof structure.
• Warm rays of sunlight gently dappled across every surface of the luxurious south room.

• We could feel the warmth of the crackling fireplace as the light from its flickering flames danced along with the sun-washed floor.
• We bumbled under the adorable chandelier and directly for the couch which was sat in front of the hearth. 
• We deeply sighed as we sank into the plush cushions basking in the sumptuous mellowness of the room.

• We spent hours there on that couch, soaking in the peace and quiet, listening to and gazing at the flickering fireplace.
• As the Hatherm-Eha's star and planets rode across the sky, the room entertained us with a ballet of lights.

• Our grumbling tummy rousing us from our entranced state, we lazily approached the cozily laid out kitchen area and quickly rinsed our mitts under the sonic faucet and patted ourselves dry. 

• Bubbling atop the stove in a hefty pot, the delicious aroma of stew made our visor fog over.
• We had only consumed proto-batter on entire journey thus far, whatever was in this stew drove us to a ravenous hunger.
• However, if this journey had taught us anything, it was better to be cautious - so we gingerly tasted the simmering medley.

• Exosuit: "DELIZIOSO!!!"

• Compliments to the chef! Thanks Kim!

• Tummy filled and hearts content, we strode across the abode and into the north room of the Bitty Base.

• Again our eyes were immediately arrested upwards by the ornately constructed ceiling... utterly charming!

• The north room featured a magnificent bed, with a handsome headboard and plush pillows.
• An inviting lamp sat atop the cute corner table on the western side of the room; nice touch!

• On the east side of the bedroom was a well-appointed restroom, complete with eye-catching magazines for fellow comfort-seeking travelers!

• Freshened and clean we returned to the bed and spent the rest of the evening catching up on recent interstellar events before we turned in for the night.

• We woke up in the early morning for some star-bulb picking - the luminescent fruit was juicy and ripe!

• We leisurely strolled along the rocky beach and enjoyed watching the sun rise over the horizon - it's comforting light blanketing over the morning seascape.

• We also spent the day sitting amongst the swaying flora and meditated with the gravitino orbs neatly arranged behind the south room.

• As another serene day swiftly came to a close, we retreated to the Bitty Base to enjoy one last seat at the fireplace.

• Fully rested and restored, we bid a fond farewell to Kim's Bitty Base. ✌😁
