Four Galaxies this Week!
Voyager's Record 10.0030.1515
Hilbert (GX002)
Heongjugi System
Okingelm Ikyus - Humid Planet
- 253,312 LY and about 40 jumps from Kunutsfo XIX
- Came across freighter remains floating listlessly with the debris orbiting the planet
- Engaged another pirate ship in high atmosphere, Excalibur danced around the enemy lasers
- On approach through the watermelon colored atmosphere, to one of the many coastlines.
- Night time as we landed on a peninsula. Observed glowing, floating jelly creatures (Treeuameum). Fed one, but couldn't ride it :P
- Discovered a network of underwater caves, eerie and beautiful
- Enjoyed a hazy sunrise along the beach
- Ventured out to the ocean in search of the final sea creature, encountered what looked like a red eye piercing through the thick green waters
- Discovered it was one of many remains strewn about the sea bed of a large system freighter
- Interfaced with the freighter's barely functioning memory logs and collected various relics from the buried cargo pods.
- Returned to the Pendragon. Prepping for system departure and final jump series to the Galactic Core of Hilbert.
Voyager's Record 10.0034.1858
- 202,988 LY on 28% warp cell charge - 32 jumps at 253,735 LY/hr (new best!)
Voyager's Record 10.0036.1930
- Base Hilbert's Innie constructed, consider visiting on your way through the stars of Hilbert :D
- Returned to the Pendragon for final checks and Galactic Core Jump
Voyager's Record 10.0037.2100
Calypso (GX003)
Higuly-Aunst System
- Invited traveler Tanjiro Kamado to travel through Hilbert GC aboard the Pendragon (see Twitch stream for details).
- Unfortunately, coop travel through GC does not appear to be doable at this time :( Iplayers within the same group would have to independently warp to the next galaxy.
- Regardless, jump successful, repairs on exosuit and Rhongomyniad underway.
- Explore the snowy planet we landed on tomorrow.
Voyager's Record 11.0038.1234
Calypso (GX003)
Higuly-Aunst System
Tend 33/Z7 - Glacial Planet
- Found excellent deposits of Radon & Sodium, as well as a generous electromagnetic hot spot; all amidst a forest of trees.
- Tend is a beautiful planet (raging snow storms included), Base Makulet III is good to go!
Voyager's Record 11.0040.1434 Nehou Q33 - Oddity
- In the search for salvageable data, we came across an unkown massive ring structure.
- Collected data logs from the terminal at the base of the structure, but we can't make heads or tails of the information (Label:'Aszei-Nupen')
Voyager's Record 11.0041.1448 Pirate Ambush
- Pirates targeted the ionized cobalt in our cargo hold.
- Pendragon dispatched the combat frigate "Lancelot" to assist.
Voyager's Record 11.0042.1519 Muphi Salvage Data Hunt
- Acidic rain barely taxied the hazard protection upgrades; pretty lavender atmosphere.
- Proceeded to hunt for salvage data - collected 65 units.
- Waved at two passing star ships at the end of our digs.
Voyager's Record 11.0043.1743 Dioxite Addition to Makulet III
- Determined that we needed to find a sustainable source of dioxite.
- Fortunately, there was a healthy deposit 800u from Base Makulet III.
- Blizzards made it more difficult to lay down supply pipe, but we made it. Need to buy more ion batteries lol
Voyager's Record 11.0044.2041 Glacial Home
- Created living quarters attached to the 2nd floor of Makulet III
- It's the first time since Fort Duster Buster back on Planet Tim Hortons (Euclid Galaxy) that I've wanted to "settle down" on any planet for a little while.
- Between the roaring blizzards, destructive electric storms and the bone chilling cold, the planet is sheer beauty.
- Will definitely use this living quarters attachment as a template for future bases on planets that we fall in love with :P
Voyager's Record 12.0046.0116 The Amazing Pendragon
- 703,308 LY/94%wc
- Distance: 703,308 LY
- Time: 161 min / 2.683 hr
- 262,102 LY/hr - NEW BEST!
~111 jumps
- It took just a little over 2 1/2 hrs to get from the fringes of Calypso to near its core - I can't describe how happy I am with the Pendragon and the upgrades we've made on its hyperdrive!
- In between plotting our route to Calypso's Core and warping there, I was able to watch several videos on content I'd been meaning to catch up on. It was quite a relaxing evening :)
- Getting to the core was the icing on top - fantastic!
Voyager's Record 12.0047.0307 Calypso's Navel
Calypso (GX003)
Amyaida-Losage System
Nucol - Volcanic Planet
NOTE: I did not discover this planet first - online discovery systems were down
- Touched down on Nucol's volatile surface next to the rumbling of a giant volcano and two "smaller" twin volcanoes.
- The suit's hazard protection was eating through ion batteries at an alarming rate as we set about surveying the area for a suitable EM hotspot to set up our GC base.
- Despite the hellish condition, I'm happy with the base we've set up - great sweeping views of the surrounding canyon and the massive volcano: Calypso's Navel.
- Off to the next galaxy!
Voyager's Record 12.0048.0453 Hesperius Galaxy
Voyager's Record 12.0049.0454 Lizabe Delta
Hesperius (GX004)
Hamion XV System
Lizabe Delta - Icy Planet
- We find ourselves on yet another snowy biome upon landing in a new galaxy :P let's see how long the streak holds!
- Quickly returned to the Pendragon and... poor Rhongomyniad :(
- Established Terminus use at the space station, and calling it a night!
Voyager's Record 13.0050.1210 Fantastic Fauna of Teftuslo Tau
Hesperius (GX004)
Hamion XV System
Toftuslo Tau - Fiery Planet
- Determined that we were going to need a steady source of phosphorus, sulpherine and other minerals for a future project. Toftuslo Tau appeared to fit the bill.
- Upon landing on the planet and initial efforts to survey, we got incredibly distracted by all the amazing creatures and their interactions with one another.
- NOTE: connect with expert Xenobiologist Silvenatrix for assistance in cataloguing these wild and wonderful creatures.
- Ended up spending the afternoon with my childhood favorite creatures - 6m tall sauropod/brachiosaur-like creatures!
Xenobiologist Silvenatrix's Notes
- Victorian Ruffle Waddler
- Beast Mode Parrot chased by a Jungle Jammer
- Mo Cheese, Sir combing the bottom of a near boiling lake
- Flappin' Hostess stalking the local marine life
- Hulkin' Defense System guarding our base ramp
- Also discovered a cave with glowing flora and it's own underground lake system.
Voyager's Record 14.0051.0205 Makulet IV (Resources)
- Finally completed Makulet IV Base. Satisfied with the setup.
- We now have a steady source of phosphorus, sulpherine, magnetized ferrite, and oxygen!
- Oriented the upper level of the base so that we could capture the beautiful, but brief sunrises on the planet. What a trip!
- Noted several lush type planets in the system - will explore soon.
Voyager's Record 14.0052.2042 The Rest of Hamion XV
- Amazingly, two lush planets, a quagmire planet and an airless planet couldn't hold a candle to the adventure that was Tuftuslo Tau. Took a few recordings, but moved on quickly.
Voyager's Record 14.0053.2345 Starship Retrofit
- Spent the remainder of the day upgrading systems on our starships.
- Re-designated and retrofitted Rhongomyniad to XES-2 Caliburn. She's fitted with a flight assistance droid we fondly named KRB-33. Vigilant little guy keeps his head on a constant swivel!
-Took Caliburn out for a shakedown run. Pulse engine upgrades added a great deal of boost, but the flight is very stiff even with KRB-33's help. Turning circle too wide. Will look for more upgrades in the following systems.
Voyager's Record 15.0054.0123 Hyperdrive Series-05
- The Pendragon's systems, crew and cargo are set to go. Hyperdrive fuel cells charged up at 99%. We've got a long way to go (713,034 LY). Time to jump!
- 709,889 LY/2.63h - 269,920 LY/h *BEST*
~113 jumps
- Landed in the system of Nuyovskyv XVI just 3143 LY from the Galactic Core.
Voyager's Record 16.0056.1423 Hesperius' Tum Tum
- Landed on the empty planet of Glyuc XVI. Apparently the sentinels here require obedience... bring shield upgrades if you visit, otherwise lol.
- Quickly set up Base Hesperius' Tum Tum. Took a minute to take in the endless view of stars and two other system planet hanging high over the horizon of Glyuc.
Voyager's Record 16.0057.0341 Hyades Galaxy
- Boarded the Pendragon and prepped systems for Galactic Core jump. See ya later Hesperius.
- Bet that we're going to land on an icy world again lol
Hyades (GX005)
Ipvak System
Kann XVIII - Decaying Nuclear World
- Made it to the 5th Galaxy dubbed Hyades.
- Surprisingly we didn't land on an icy planet! Landed on a decaying nuclear world instead - Kann XVIII.
- Called in Caliburn & quickly rocketed back to the Pendragon. Repaired Exosuit and Multitool.
- Re-designated Galactic Core Jumper Rhongomyniad sits in the hangar in sparks. Repairs underway.
- Checked out the galaxy map onboard the Pendragon. We're in the Ivplak system, a comfortable 692,420 LY from the core of Hyades.
- Let's call it a night and explore the system in the morning before resuming our journey.
